Only a few more weeks until the 2025-26 training year begins!

Welcome back, everyone! I hope you had a fantastic summer and are ready for another exciting training year. The SSC and staff have been busy preparing an engaging calendar of events with fun activities and opportunities. I’m looking forward to seeing our cadets thrive in a supportive and engaging environment. Let’s make this year unforgettable.  NULLIS SECUNDUS!

September 10 - Admin night

Every year all of our returning cadets are required to confirm personal information via the Annual Validation form, information. Arrival time is 1830hrs at Béatrice-Desloges Catholic High School. Please bring your health card and your parent or guardian.

Dress: C5 (FTU)
 

September 17 - Recruit night

Do you know any youths aged 12-18 interested in joining 632? The recruit night will consist of a presentation about the Air Cadet program followed by finalizing the registration process. Arrival time is 1900hrs at Béatrice-Desloges Catholic High School.

Here's what you need to bring:

  • your health card

  • proof of age (birth certificate, passport, if applicable, any card, visa or permit issued by the Canadian government which legally authorizes the person to reside in Canada for an extended period of time, and or proof of Canadian citizenship).

  • Level 1 and 2: 2Lt Bordeleau

  • Level 3 and 4: 2Lt Côté

  • Advanced Leadership Program: 2Lt Constant

COMING UP IN SEPTEMBER
September 8 - Band (returning members only!)

Band will be in session for returning cadets from Monday, September 8th! Cadets in the band program meet weekly to practice their playing and theory skills, and apply their knowledge by participating in squadron and local parades, as well as regional band activities. 

 

  • When: Mondays, 1815hrs to 2100hrs

  • Where: Cafeteria (Béatrice-Desloges Secondary School)

  • Dress: Civilian attire

 

Bring your music sheets, instruments, notebook and a pen/pencil!

September 20 - Open to Level 4+

New year, new seniors! Camp Odyssey is a day for senior team bonding, lessons about leadership concepts and scenario activities. More details to come.

September 21 - Battle of Britain

Cadets in the Ottawa area are invited to support in the 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain ceremony at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum. Dress will be C1. More details to come.

Leadership Appointments

Cadets in level 4 or higher can apply for a leadership position at the squadron. You'll get relevant work experience for opportunities inside and outside of Cadets! More details to come.

September 24 - 632 Activities Fair

Public speaking, aviation, correspondence, biathlon, band, marksmanship, drill - Join our clubs to learn a new skill or keep growing in your experience.
