SUPPLY ANNOUNCEMENTS AND TIPS
  • If you haven’t received your blue uniform yet, or your parade boots, please see Supply right after checking in for attendance.  Note, we are holding off on distributing new blue tunics for now.

  • If you haven’t received your FTU velcro nametape or your blue plastic nametag yet, please see Supply in the cafeteria right after checking in for attendance.

  • Supply is always accepting uniform requests. If you're not sure what size you need, tell us what item you need, take photo of the tag for the item you're returning and whether you'd like taller/shorter and larger or smaller at the waist/chest etc. We'll do our best to find the correct sizes and bring them as soon as we are able to.  Email Supply to ask for a uniform exchange: Thomas.Meed@cadets.gc.ca

Uniform Tips from Supply!

If you only have FTU boots and no parade boots yet (we are awaiting a huge shipment), you have an exemption to wear your FTU boots while in Blues.  We understand your dress shirt may be too tight or may not even button up around your neck.  That’s OK, please be present for training and we’ll fix that.  Show up wearing the blue uniform anyways and exchange your dress shirt at Supply right after attendance.  We’ll have dress shirts & ties of various sizes, as well as slip-ons (epaulettes) of all ranks available for exchange.

You should ideally wear a white V-neck t-shirt under your dress shirt (purchased separately).  This will help the armpits on your dress shirt stay clear of sweat marks (make sure to wash it as well to keep the collar clean).  Do not wear the blue t-shirt or any other round collared t-shirt underneath your dress shirt.
