Cadet Training Program Update
Dear parents/guardians, staff and cadets of 632 Phoenix,
With the worsening of the pandemic situation, we have been directed to go back to virtual training in the short term. Please check the events calendar for details.
When we return to in-person training, hopefully soon, please ensure that you have read the following memo to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all program participants:
While proof of vaccination is not required to participate in Cadet Program activities, proof will be required in order to participate in training and access facilities subject to provincial regulations. For the time being, 632 Phoenix Squadron has been fortunate to find a temporary placement with our local sponsor, the 632 Orleans Legion. This facility is subject to provincial regulations, and as such, will require adults and staff to provide proof of vaccination. To enter the Legion space, you will have to show a piece of government-issued I.D. (e.g. driver's license) as well as a vaccination receipt which confirms you have received your second dose. Participants aged 18 are also required to show proof of vaccination.
As we plan further for our in-person activities (optional and mandatory), we will inform you in advance if a certain facility requires proof of vaccination due to obligatory provincial regulations.
632 Phoenix RCACS will continue to act as a respectful tenant by adhering to the rules issued. For any questions or concerns regarding this, please feel free to contact me at calogero.cumbo@cadets.gc.ca
Major Calogero Cumbo
Commanding Officer
632 Phoenix RCACS
IMPORTANT
Reminder that should any cadet test positive for Covid-19, it is important to advise our Covid Safety Officer, Lt. Bourgeois, as soon as possible.
